The coconut balancing rope is one of our most popular pieces of equipment. Not only does it provide a fun and challenging play experience for kids of all abilities, but it also adds a distinctive look and feel to a space. Favored for nature play settings, the coconut balancing rope uses a thick 100mm diameter base rope with a distinctive brown husky color. The rope has a steel cable threaded through the core to allow for secure attachment and to prevent sagging over time. Each end of the rope is bound to prevent fraying using an old sailmakers technique. All these details give the coconut balancing rope a distinctive character.
MATERIALS
The net is manufactured from 16mm steel reinforced playground rope. There is a powder coated steel ring at each end of the tube that supports the net. The steel rings are then attached to the structure using guy ropes, made from the same 16mm steel reinforced playground rope, with stainless steel eye bolts attached for easy installation. The Vortex Crawl can also be bolted directly to a structure to create a direct tunnel from one place to another.
